What you bring to the role:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Connecticut SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates welcome
- Experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms a plus
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with educators and families
What you’ll be doing:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students PreK–12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted therapy sessions
- Conduct virtual or in-person therapy, adapting to student needs
- Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state guidelines
- Serve as a valuable resource to teachers, administrators, and parents to foster student growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
