Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Waterbury, Connecticut

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) considered
- Previous experience with pediatric and school-aged populations is highly valued
- Competency with teletherapy services is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for diverse learners
- Deliver engaging individual and group therapy sessions across PreK-12th grade
- Collaborate with general educators, special education professionals, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by school standards and contract requirements
- Utilize technology to provide effective teletherapy, ensuring continuity of services
