Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Prior experience or practicum in K-12 school settings is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in a school setting
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication difficulties
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Document sessions and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress
- Offer screening and consultation to staff and families as needed
