Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as required for SLP practice
- Prior experience working with K-12 students preferred, but open to a strong clinical background
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop targeted interventions for a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for engaging students, teachers, and families
- Willingness to work onsite and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address each student's specific communication needs
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions in accordance with established goals
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate updates to parents, educators, and support teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to overall student support planning
- Offer consultation and training to teachers and staff to facilitate classroom-based strategies
