Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), preferred
- Prior experience working with K-12 students in educational settings is highly valued
- Knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills
- Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students across grade levels
- Perform speech, language, and communication screenings and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment results
- Prepare and maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal standards
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Educate staff and families about strategies that support student communication needs
