Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active SLP license in Iowa (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience with pediatric and school-based populations, including early childhood and elementary students
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs to support individualized goals
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with families, teachers, and related service providers
- Adaptability to serve caseloads based on background and personal strengths
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech/language interventions for students in grades K–12
- Develop tailored therapy plans, monitor student progress, and maintain thorough documentation
- Consult with teachers and parents to support student growth across academic and social environments
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team decisions
- Ensure services meet state and federal special education regulations
