Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or clinical setting
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions to students both individually and in small groups
- Maintain timely documentation and progress reports
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and collaboration with fellow educational professionals
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and caregivers regarding speech and language strategies in the classroom
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education as required
