Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY applicants will be considered
- Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations highly valued
- Ability to conduct assessments, create individualized plans, and maintain clear documentation
- Strong organizational skills and a collaborative, student-centered approach
Responsibilities:
- Perform screening, evaluation, and diagnosis of speech-language disorders in students
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services tailored to students’ IEP goals
- Work closely with educators, administrators, and parents to develop and implement communication support strategies
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and multidisciplinary team collaboration
