Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Oskaloosa, IA

Ideal candidates will have:
- A master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates considered
- Previous experience working in a school environment, or a strong interest in school-based services
- Solid knowledge of IEP development and the special education process
- Effective communication, organizational, and time-management skills
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Developing individualized intervention plans based on students’ unique needs
- Providing direct therapy for students with a variety of communication disorders
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records as required
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Offering consultation and support to teachers and families regarding speech-language strategies
- Adapting approaches to meet students’ diverse learning styles and needs
