Pediatric Elementary School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Des Moines, Iowa

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active state licensure (or ability to obtain) as an SLP
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings
- Familiarity with early childhood, elementary, and secondary student needs
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver evidence-based therapy services to students across K–12
- Collaborate with educational teams, classroom teachers, and families to promote student success
- Maintain accurate records and provide input for IEPs and progress reports
- Adapt approaches for students with a range of learning and communication challenges
