Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP in Iowa
- Preferred experience in pediatrics, early childhood, and elementary settings
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and school-based practices
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities Include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to well-rounded student support strategies
