Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) for Pennsylvania as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Previous experience with school-aged and pediatric populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Solid grasp of IEP development, therapy documentation, and progress reporting
- Comfort working with diverse abilities and backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students individually and in groups
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create a supportive learning environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate and timely therapy notes and documentation according to school policies
- Engage in professional development and stay current with evidence-based practices
