- Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech and language disorders
- Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
- Organizational skills to manage caseloads and required documentation
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students who need speech and language services
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Provide direct therapy services to school-aged children within an educational setting
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
- Stay current on best practices and maintain professional licensure and certification
