Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active SLP license in Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience providing pediatric speech therapy, ideally in a school environment
  • Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech and language disorders
  • Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Organizational skills to manage caseloads and required documentation

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify students who need speech and language services
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to school-aged children within an educational setting
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
  • Stay current on best practices and maintain professional licensure and certification
