Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current state licensure as an SLP
  • Preferred experience in school settings or with pediatric populations
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of speech and language disorders in students
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students, documenting findings and recommendations
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech therapy services
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services to children with varying needs, both in individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and families to support student success and progress
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluation, treatment, and progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert input to multidisciplinary teams
