Qualifications & Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist for school-based practice
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Pediatric experience or previous work in school settings
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative abilities
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners and tailoring interventions to each child’s needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with educational goals
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP services, both individually and in small groups
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Advise and engage with teachers, families, and school staff to maximize student outcomes
