- Valid SLP license in Pennsylvania (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY applicants considered
- Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in a school-based setting
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and educational staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students on caseload
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ IEP goals
- Maintain thorough records of student progress and provide ongoing updates to stakeholders
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight for student success
- Offer education and strategies to staff and families to foster carryover of skills
- Remain current on best practices in school-based speech-language therapy
