Desired Qualifications:
- Current SLP-CCC licensure
- Strong background in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology
- Demonstrated expertise working with children diagnosed with autism
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapies to meet the individual needs of each student
- Experience collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services 3 days per week in a specialized program supporting students with autism
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement targeted interventions
- Spend 2 days each week providing speech and language services to students outside of designated programs
- Split time between two elementary buildings, ensuring seamless support and communication across settings
- Maintain thorough documentation, progress monitoring, and parent/teacher communications
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of strategies promoting student success
