School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Henrico, Virginia

Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or clinical fellowship (CFY) eligibility
- Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred, though enthusiastic new graduates will be considered
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive atmosphere for diverse student populations
- Ability to work onsite and adapt to the unique needs of K-12 learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups, across K-12 grade levels
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert input to multidisciplinary teams
- Serve as a resource for staff and families regarding speech and language development
- Help students build effective communication skills that support their academic and social success
