Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid SLP state license or eligibility for licensure
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
  • Prior experience or strong interest working with K-12 school populations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication screenings and comprehensive assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Maintain thorough documentation and track student progress in accordance with district and state standards
  • Support teachers and staff with classroom strategies and accommodations for students with communication needs
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for generalization
  • Attend and participate in professional development, team meetings, and required trainings
