Speech Language Pathologist in Glen Allen, VA

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Previous school-based experience preferred, especially with K-12 populations

- Ability to conduct speech, language, and swallowing assessments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, families, and staff
- Capability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt therapy methods to meet individual student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to K-12 students
- Administer evaluations and interpret assessment data to develop targeted therapy plans
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the educational team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
- Partner with teachers and parents to create supportive communication strategies in the classroom and at home
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to ongoing staff development
