Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active CCC-SLP certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience working in school settings, particularly with students with autism
- Proficiency in pediatric speech and language therapy approaches
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with staff, parents, and students
- Ability to adapt therapy methods to individual student needs
- Organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation efficiently
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct, in-person speech and language therapy services to elementary students
- Work three days per week within a specialized program supporting students with autism, contributing to a multidisciplinary team
- Spend two days per week assisting students requiring speech and language interventions outside the designated program
- Alternate weekly between two elementary school buildings to meet the needs of diverse student populations
- Complete timely evaluations, maintain accurate progress documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student success
