Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Waterbury, Connecticut

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work across multiple school sites with students ranging from PreK through 4th and 8th grade. This is a full-time, onsite role providing targeted speech and language services as an itinerant SLP.
Ideal candidates thrive in a collaborative school environment and bring expertise in assessment, intervention, and documentation. Experience with pediatric populations, educational settings, and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is highly valued. Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Connecticut SLP license (required)
- CCC-SLP credentials or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision capacity
- Background in schools, healthcare, pediatric speech therapy, or teletherapy
- Familiarity with school-based caseloads, serving diverse ages and abilities
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy at multiple sites
- Serve PreK-4th and 8th-grade students with varied needs
- Conduct evaluations, develop goals, and contribute to IEPs
- Maintain clear, timely records and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to maximize student achievement
