School Speech Language Pathologist - Lake Orion, Michigan

As the expert onsite SLP for an early childhood/preschool caseload, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to tailor interventions, foster communication skills, and create a nurturing atmosphere where every child can thrive.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license in Michigan and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience providing speech services in a school-based or early childhood setting
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and therapy techniques for preschool populations
- Ability to work onsite with students, staff, and families
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to early childhood/preschool students
- Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and track measurable student progress
- Consult with multidisciplinary teams to support student success and compliance
- Communicate effectively with caregivers and educators regarding student needs and achievements
- Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in team meetings and share expertise to benefit student programming
