Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Active SLP license in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working in schools, ideally with preschool or early childhood populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Dedicated to onsite work—teletherapy is not available for this assignment
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, diagnostic evaluations, and provide direct therapy for children ages 3-5 with a range of speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs and school policies
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate records, complete required documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide resources and support to families and teachers to foster carryover of skills in classroom and home environments
