Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Warwick, RI

You’ll work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM–3:00 PM, managing a full-time caseload of 18-22 students, all of whom receive essential behavior intervention services.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Rhode Island SLP license
- SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or experience with SLP in a school setting
- Strong understanding of developmental and intellectual disabilities
- Familiarity with behavioral intervention techniques is an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Passion for working with a diverse student population
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language services onsite
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with classroom staff, special educators, and behavior interventionists
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and parent conferences
- Adapt therapy techniques to best support students’ behavioral and communication needs
