School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Providence, Rhode Island

In this full-time role, you'll work with a caseload of 18-22 students, ages 5 to 22, who benefit from consistent speech-language therapy and behavioral intervention strategies. This position begins as soon as possible, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, totaling 37.5 hours each week.
Skills and Qualifications:
- RI Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligible
- Experience working in schools and with neurodiverse populations is highly valued
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to implement effective behavior intervention strategies
What You'll Be Doing:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services on-site to students with a variety of developmental, intellectual, and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and speech therapy goals
- Collaborate closely with special education teachers, behavioral staff, and other professionals
- Track progress, maintain documentation, and communicate regularly with families and team members
- Provide guidance on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as appropriate
