Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working in schools or with school-aged populations
- Confidence in supporting students with severe, behavioral challenges
- Willingness to participate in Safety Care training as part of a positive, collaborative safety approach
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Passion for evidence-based, student-centered intervention
What You'll Do:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services to students with complex behavioral needs
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and maintain accurate, compliant documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary staff to foster an inclusive communication environment
- Provide recommendations and strategies for classroom staff and families
- Participate in ongoing staff professional development, including Safety Care training
- Contribute positively to a supportive team culture focused on student growth
