Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Previous experience in school settings, especially with behavioral or high-needs populations.
- Comfort and willingness to participate in safety care training.
- Flexibility, compassion, and a solutions-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct and consultative speech/language therapy.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and inter-disciplinary team members.
- Document progress, attend meetings, and contribute to IEP development.
- Support students’ communication needs across varied developmental and functional levels.
