Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required
- Active relevant state licensure
- Experience or strong interest in serving school-aged children and young adults, especially those with behavioral or severe needs
- Willingness to complete safety care training
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a school setting
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students aged 5–22 in a school environment
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, aides, and other support staff to best serve student needs
- Lead or assist with group and individual therapy sessions, adapting interventions for behavioral complexities
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
