Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid SLP license in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP process, compliance, and therapy best practices
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for a school-age caseload
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Deliver both group and one-on-one therapy sessions
- Consult and collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to optimize student progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing insights and recommendations
- Monitor and report on student progress, making program adjustments as needed
