We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide contract services for students ranging from kindergarten through high school. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid license to practice as an SLP in Texas (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Experience delivering speech and language therapy in a school setting is highly valued
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and screenings to determine student speech and language needs
- Develop targeted therapy plans and deliver direct services in both individual and group settings
- Document student progress, participate in IEP meetings, and provide input on educational accommodations
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other service providers to maximize student outcomes
- Ensure all documentation meets state, federal, and district guidelines
