Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP license for the state of Florida (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though consideration will be given to strong Clinical Fellows
- Experience in K-12 school environments or with pediatric populations
- Skills in assessment, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with each student’s IEP
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services
- Track student progress and prepare documentation as required
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Educate and collaborate with teachers and families to reinforce strategies seamlessly across environments
