Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Current Florida SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows with strong references are welcome to apply
- Prior school-based or pediatric SLP experience is advantageous
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver speech and language therapy in accordance with IEPs
- Support students with diverse needs, adapting interventions as necessary for optimal progress
- Consult with educators, families, and specialists to promote generalization of skills
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide guidance to classroom staff for integration of communication strategies into daily routines
