Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous school-based experience is an asset, though new graduates with passion for supporting young learners are welcome to apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary educational team
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom activities
- Attend IEP meetings and provide professional input on student progress and recommended supports
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and district requirements
