Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship candidates considered
- Experience or practicum work in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP procedures and educational documentation
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy within classroom and pull-out settings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social success
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings while maintaining compliant, timely documentation
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as necessary, and report on outcomes
- Provide education and resources to staff and caregivers on communication strategies
