- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for teamwork and family collaboration
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress reporting
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and contribute to IEP meetings
- Deliver therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, addressing speech, language, fluency, and social communication goals
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting interventions as needed
- Educate teachers and families on strategies to support student communication skills
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding speech therapy in educational settings
