Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CF accepted
- Valid SLP state licensure or eligibility in Alabama
- Experience working with pediatric and/or school-based populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
- Ability to create and implement individualized therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress towards therapy goals
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services individually or in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on speech-language needs and interventions
