School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Houston, Texas

Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current SLP license in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates also considered
- Prior experience in a school setting is advantageous
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to deliver both individual and group therapy sessions
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver evidence-based therapy services addressing speech, language, fluency, and pragmatic language concerns
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing professional development
