Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid SLP license in the state of Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience in a school-based setting is a plus, but not required
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student needs across various grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred for evaluation
- Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals based on student needs
- Provide direct therapy services to eligible students, both individually and in small groups
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
- Document student progress, prepare required reports, and maintain accurate records
- Offer consultative support and training to staff and families regarding speech-language needs in the educational setting
