Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates will be considered
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in conducting assessments, creating individualized plans, and documenting progress
- Familiarity with IEP process and compliance standards
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations for students referred for services
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Deliver both one-on-one and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, parents, and other support staff
- Maintain thorough records of student progress, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations for students’ needs
- Provide in-service training and resources to staff when appropriate
