Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure in Texas or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, clinical fellows considered
- Experience in school settings or working with pediatric populations
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring
- A passion for helping diverse learners reach their fullest potential
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Provide therapy in both individual and group settings
- Offer guidance to educators and families for classroom carryover
- Assist with autism spectrum, articulation, fluency, voice, expressive and receptive language interventions
- Track student progress and complete required reporting in a timely manner
- Advocate for student needs and contribute to educational planning meetings
- Promote an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere for all students
