What we look for:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure with eligibility for practice in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Previous experience within school settings is preferred, though strong new graduates are welcome to apply
- Proficiency in assessment, development of IEPs, therapy planning, and documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, teachers, and parents
- Flexibility and adaptability to support a diverse student population
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting screenings and comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Writing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Delivering direct and consultative therapy services, both individually and in group settings
- Maintaining accurate and timely therapy notes and compliance records
- Coordinating with general and special education teams to support student progress
- Communicating effectively with families to explain assessment results, goals, and progress
- Participating in meetings, professional development, and ongoing learning
