Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; consideration given to strong Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Previous experience within school settings or with pediatric populations highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized and informal tools
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting students’ speech and language goals
- Deliver direct therapy to students, utilizing research-based intervention strategies
- Provide consultation and resources to teaching staff and parents to generalize skills across settings
- Maintain accurate records, progress monitoring, and compliance documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development
