Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP (Individualized Education Plan) goals
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to monitor progress and adapt strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation per state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
