Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current Texas state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children
- Excellent interpersonal, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Your Role Includes:
- Conducting evaluations, assessments, and screenings for students with speech and language challenges
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results
- Providing direct and consultative therapy services to students with a range of communication needs
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals and progress
- Maintaining thorough records and progress notes in compliance with school policies
- Participating in IEP meetings and communicating student progress to stakeholders
- Offering expertise and resources to school staff and families
