What you’ll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Experience in a school setting, including IEP development and service delivery
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to helping children overcome speech, language, and communication challenges
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services in group and one-on-one settings
- Monitor, track, and document students’ progress towards communication goals
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering expertise and recommendations
- Communicate proactively with families and school personnel to support student success
- Stay current on best practices, therapy techniques, and relevant regulations
