Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Alabama
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working with school-age children recommended
- Knowledge of IEP process and familiarity with diverse caseloads, including articulation, language, and social communication
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Provide direct therapy services and consult with teachers, parents, and staff
- Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and session notes
