What you’ll bring:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license for Alabama (ASHA CCCs required)
- SLP Educator certification in Alabama (verification available via the Alabama State Department of Education certification portal)
- Experience providing speech-language therapy in school settings (preferred)
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload—up to 60 students
- Dedication to fostering student growth, learning, and self-advocacy
- Commitment to an onsite work model (no telepractice)
Role highlights:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy, assessment, and intervention services
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and student progress reports
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with school teams
- Serve as a resource for educators and families, supporting inclusive practices
- Take initiative in evaluating and adjusting strategies to maximize student outcomes
- Engage with multiple school communities, meeting a range of student needs throughout the academic year
Openings available:
- Full-time assignment at a high school
- Elementary school roles split between two buildings (2 or 3 days per site)
- Middle and elementary school assignment (3 days and 2 days, respectively)
