Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license in the state of Alabama
- SLP Educator certification in Alabama required (candidates can verify and obtain through the Alabama certification portal)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF) status
- Recent experience working with pediatric or school-based caseloads strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Role Highlights:
- Serve students at multiple schools, including preschool, elementary, middle, and high school campuses
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy sessions in group and individual settings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, create intervention plans, and monitor progress
- Develop and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with district and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ communication needs
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for all services rendered
- Commitment to onsite-only delivery—responsibility for building strong, in-person connections
