Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license in Alabama
- SLP Educator certification (check status and fingerprints at the state education website)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellow (CF) applicants also considered
- Experience in school settings or pediatric populations valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and deliver individualized therapy for a caseload of approximately 60 students across multiple school sites (preschool, elementary, middle, and high)
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with educational staff and families
- Document treatment plans, progress, and communication per school and state guidelines
- Provide services onsite only (no teletherapy)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
