Speech Language Pathologist in Birmingham, AL

Work alongside dedicated educators and allied professionals to provide exceptional communication support and interventions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) certification in Alabama
- SLP Educator certification for Alabama schools and completed fingerprint/background check
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship eligible
- Recent experience in a school-based SLP setting preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaborative skills
- Ability to adapt to a diverse student population and multi-site assignments
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and implement direct therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student success
- Maintain thorough records and progress reports aligned with district and state requirements
- Offer consultation and professional guidance in multiple school settings
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings
