Speech Language Pathologist in Tenino, WA
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication needs for the upcoming school year. Flexible placements are available, ranging from elementary to secondary settings, all with full-time schedules of 37.5 hours per week. Caseloads are manageable, with approximately 60 students, and options exist in elementary (K-6), developmental preschool (ages 3-5, not yet in kindergarten and potentially including some elementary students), as well as at the secondary level (grades 7-12 across two buildings). Your expertise will help shape learning environments for a vibrant and diverse group of learners.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Washington SLP license
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
- Experience with school-aged children (K-12 or early childhood) preferred
- Ability to support IEP development and implementation
- Commitment to collaborative teamwork with educators and families
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to a diverse caseload
- Evaluate students, write and implement IEPs, and track student progress
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy according to student needs
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Support inclusive classroom environments
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
