Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Naval Anacost Annex, District of Columbia

Key Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations, preferably within a school setting
- Active state licensure or eligibility in DC
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
- Committed to in-person service delivery (virtual-only/Voco applicants not considered)
- Available to start as soon as possible
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders among students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver therapeutic interventions in individual and group settings
- Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Work closely with educators and family members to ensure comprehensive support
- Maintain detailed documentation compliant with school and district guidelines
- Engage in professional development activities relevant to school-based practice
This role provides you with a set full-time schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., allowing for work-life balance and a predictable routine throughout the school year.
